A complete production brief helps a custom-hat buyer and factory discuss the same specification. Use this checklist before requesting a quotation so open decisions are visible and the next review step is clear.
Product and quantity
Name the hat style, intended use, total quantity, size or adjustment system, color breakdown, and destination market. If several styles are included, separate them into line items rather than describing them as one mixed order.
Decoration and artwork
Attach the original logo file and state the decoration method, placement, finished dimensions, color references, and revision number. Mark any small text or detail that requires special review.
Materials and construction details
List the preferred material or reference sample when known, along with crown, brim, closure, lining, sweatband, or ventilation requirements that matter to the project. Unconfirmed material or performance claims should remain open for factory review.
Sample and approval ownership
Name the person who approves artwork, size, fit, color, decoration, packaging, and final revisions. Keep one revision record so the approved version can be distinguished from earlier comments.
Packaging and delivery information
State the packaging unit, carton marks, labeling, destination country, receiving requirements, and target delivery window. A target window is planning information, not a guaranteed lead time; production timing must be confirmed against the complete brief.
MOQ and quotation request
Projects can start from MOQ 50 when the selected style and specification are suitable; the actual MOQ must be confirmed for the full brief. Send the production brief through the inquiry page so the request can be reviewed with the relevant details.
