Describe who will wear the hats, where they will be used, and the quantity you are planning. A concise use case helps a supplier compare the requested decoration method with the intended result.
Choose the logo treatment
An RFQ can state whether the logo should be embroidered, made as a patch, printed, or applied as a label. Include the artwork, approximate size, placement, and the colors that must be preserved. If more than one treatment is acceptable, list the order of preference instead of leaving the choice open.
Make the specification reviewable
List the hat style, requested colors, trims, packaging needs, and any file-format requirements that are already known. Mark unknown items as to be confirmed. This keeps the request accurate and prevents an assumption from becoming an unapproved commercial promise.
Ask for a clear next step
Request confirmation of the selected style, materials, colors, logo treatment, trims, packaging, and the applicable quantity threshold. Eligible custom programs can start at 50 pieces; final MOQ must be confirmed against those project details.
RFQ checklist
Before sending, check that the artwork is attached, the decoration method is named, the quantity is stated, the delivery destination is identified, and open questions are called out. A short, complete brief makes the next review easier for both sides.
